Change Your World
One day course to make positive life changes
workshop classroom
Adult/low income
Available tickets

A hands-on introductory one-day course providing you with a tool kit that can support a more ecological approach to all parts of your life.
We will show how you can use permaculture principles, ethics, and ecological
thinking to redesign:
-    Your garden
-    Your job
-    Your community
-    Your house
-    You

You don’t need to know anything about permaculture or even gardening to come on this course. You'll learn in the supportive, fun and nurturing surroundings of Edibles Permaculture smallholding. Last year's participants said:
The course renewed my optimism and enthusiasm for my garden but more importantly for people/the Earth generally.
Open and interesting conversations. Friendly, fun, encouraging.
It has given clarity where to place my energy, pointing to hope and positive change.
Friendly, food, open, non judgemental.

I loved the flow of the course.

By the end of the day you will:
• Be able to explain how permaculture ethics and principles can support a wide range of plans, decisions and
• Have the confidence to apply these ethics and principles to something important to you
• Be equipped to undertake a basic permaculture design
• Know the opportunities available to explore permaculture and ecological thinking further.

The course will be fun and friendly, and you’ll never be too far from a cuppa and homemade cake. We’ll also prepare a scrummy vegetarian lunch! We’ll work and learn together through a series of interactive exercises and discussions to build confidence in applying permaculture and ecological thinking to the areas of your life that matter to you. This could be anything – your garden, home, work, friends, family, or just you. There will be plenty of time to chat and to get to know everyone in the group, helping each other do our best thinking. We hope you’ll finish the day inspired to make positive change happen and perhaps find out more about
permaculture and ecological thinking.

The day will comprise small and larger group work, activies around Edibles' site to see principles and ethics in action, solo thinking and group work on your own projects that you bring to the day (which could be land, social or personal).
